The Man in the High Castle

I have never read the book but it is on my short list for sure. Watched the first episode of the Amazon series and it shows some promise. Of course I'm torn here. I hate government but love the idea of Nazi rule. I also am angered about the idea of not winning the war. So many conflicting feelings. I wonder if the story touches on the massively exaggerated Shoah.

The book is good, and certainly worth the read. Like the other Phillip K. Dick novels I've read, it gives you this strange sense that you are stuck in a kind of fever dream, while at the same conveying real and deep truths.

I highly recommend Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? It is the book that inspired Blade Runner.

I haven't seen the television show yet. I'll have to put that on my list.

I watched the first episode a few weeks ago. I liked it.

Is it free to watch if you have Prime, or do you have to pay per episode? I don't have Prime, but it would be one more reason to take the plunge.
