Biggest take away for me is the narrative that the republicans destroyed their party embracing Trump and it would cost them but reality is they found a way to win elections. The Democratic Party got slaughtered up and down the ballot and demographics point to troubles ahead. They are the party that will have to embrace a change

Actually, I give the D's credit. They ran a terrible candidate who did relatively well in the election. The bigger issue is they lost a number of down-ballot races.

I guess it didn't hurt that they had a lot of money to spend, and the backing of the liberal media.
