Not adjusted for overall purchasing power parity (PPP), but still....

Mexico's GDP per capita is about a third of ours. So PPP suggests our eggs should cost 3x theirs.

I like the idea of ATVs scooters and motorcycles in Walmart. I wish he had shown their prices.

I don’t know where that guy lives, but eggs are $5.46 per dozen at my local Walmart.

So still way more than the eggs in the video. I was yesterday a 10 pack going to $1.99 in Germany.

Depends on size but a dozen large white eggs at our Wallyworld are $4.17. X-large are only $4.67. Just bought an 18-count of X-large for $6.88.

Mexicans aren't stupid enough to wipe out their own food supply like their northern neighbors do.

Pumping birds full of hormones costs money
Killing off hundreds of thousands of layers costs more $$. In Iowa we have had almost 2 years of bird flu infestation.. that has resulted in killing millions of chickens and no sign of relief in sight. I believe Iowa is one of the leading “egg producing” states in the nation. Abd Ioway isn’t the only state suffering from this disease.
