Not to turn this into some sort of love fest, but I've always thought you were the model here as to "what makes a great poster". You never got all caught up in the drama, tried to keep everything you posted humorous (and succeeded) and never taking anything here too serious, etc...that kind of thing.

You're proof that a high post count does not necessarily translate into a great poster...a LOT of posters on this board need to learn that. Quality over quantity - to me, that makes the best posters - it's a trait I've noticed on all the boards I've gone to through the years.

IMHO, there's been none better around these parts, period. I mean, kee-ripes, it's been over 20 years now, we've been stomping on this ol' terra firma. I know you've cut back in recent years, but it's good to see you dropping in on us and ridin' the river with us again.

Wow. Ol' Doodle doesn't even know how to respond to such overly kind words except to say "thanks" and admit to probably not feeling particularly worthy of such high praise, and that the feeling is mutual.
