South Dakota can score.

7 game winning streak prior to CCG.

Averaged 85 PPG for the second half of the season.

I hope we learn to defend at a championship level in this tournament. This South Dakota game will be a great first test.

I just hope they bring great passion, not expecting a win, just ready to make a run, one possession at a time.

TCU is gonna be a tough one in the 2nd round as well.

Not to mention Alabama played Kentucky tough in the SECCG.

Not an easy path to NYC.

I ordered mine on friday and season ticket holders can do so now. General public later tonight or tomorrow; could only order online. Let's fill the place

Let's just keep playing until the end of March! I want to see these young players in a tournament. They have been playing so many Aau games and tournaments before this year so they have a chance at something special. I'll take 3 wins and off to NYC!

I think Cook and Pemsl are about the only Iowa players who have had real success in high school tournaments.

Former Wake Forest coach on espnu said it best. Younger teams more excited for NIT compared to teams with lot of upperclassmen who are disappointed they didn't make the NCAA tourney.

I agree it's who actually cares to be there I remember one Iowa team in the late 90s you could tell they didn't want to be there and lost i think in first round, maybe 2nd.

But the small conferences want to be there, and probably just half the P5 schools. This team will want to be there, Jok might not be to thrilled since he made 3 in a row.

Our bracket is pretty tough, TCU? Clemson? Alabama?

Way tough but TCU is 2nd best or 3rd best in this bracket. Clemson had very good wins and like all their losses or most were 5 points or less. 3 best teams Iowa, TCU, Clemson. Can't remember I know first two rounds are at home but is the final in the region home court too?

Year we went to championship believe we were a 3rd seed which surprised me i figured a 1 or 2 that year. Where can I see the whole bracket?

I had it in my head that the NIT games are general admission, but our tickets had seats assigned. Can anyone clarify?
