Iowa is going to play several other teams that have been playing rather sketchy defensive ball!
Purdue, Maryland, and Indiana are the most egregious in this regard. Nebraska's pass D is very iffy.
We're going to see the best Ds mostly in the front portion of our schedule. Wisconsin's D is tightening things down and Northwestern plays good defensive ball too. Illinois has decent rush ends, has a very active LB, and has a few decent guys in the secondary - they've been better against the run than the pass (their D is probably on par with Nebraska's - not as good of a run D, but having a better pass D).
Anyhow, it will be interesting to see how the O continues to fare through the season.
