The sonic attacks on the US embassy in Cuba might have been crickets?

HROT has been following this story ever since it broke, and there was always confusion over who might have perpetrated such an attack. It is widely believed that Cuba does not have the technology to carry out a sonic attack. Scientists are now offering up the possibility that male crickets calling for mates might be the culprit.
If it was crickets it kind of makes the US move to restrict relations, and pull back from opening trade with Cuba look like a pansy assed move.
