We only see one scene where Gondorf could have switched the cards: When he goes for matches from his pocket to light his cigar. I’ve always wondered where the director wanted us to believe that happened.

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting are two of my all time favorite movies. I wish they'd have done more movies together, like Walter Matthau and Jack Lemon did (11 films in total).
