The truth why stupid people think they're smart

I'm always reminded of the lyrics to a 2005 song by Ben Folds called Bastard.
There's a few lines in it as follows, "So why you gotta act like you know when you don't know? It's okay if you don't know everything."
With the advent of social media, there are so many people that think they have to have their voice and opinions heard on every freaking thing possible!
I don't post a ton on forums like this because there's so many of these threads that I either don't care or have an opinion about or have the knowledge or understanding to have to comment on it. I'm okay with that and I'll leave the pointless arguments to others and like some that make sense to me.
