Musk is such an anti-free speech fascist...is what @Phenomenally Frantastic will say when he reads about this.
I’m just brushing it off like I do with the other gnats.Seriously? If you can't take it, don't dish it out first.
Why wouldn't he be allowed to use it, but Musk would be? Unless of course, fascist Musk took it from him as a punishment for practicing free speech. Something he would totally do.What are the terms of the site?
Is the former @America handle owner no longer allowed to use X?
Well you could have fooled me on that then.I’m just brushing it off like I do with the other gnats.
My mistake then. I made you feel more important than you are. 🤷♀️Well you could have fooled me on that then.

Nobody is saying Musk can’t do it under the TOS.
We’re saying it’s bullshit to take the account from a long-time account holder to use it to prop up Trump - particularly since Musk claimed he needed to be neutral for Twitter to have credibility and that he was for unrestricted free speech (apparently free as long as he agrees with the speech).
You’ll defend Musk here no matter what so don’t bother.
I've often said that if one isn't skeptical, even just a little, of what they view, read or hear, regardless of the source, they aren't doing it right.Personally, I don't trust any of it, but if some tinfoil hat wants to post about QAnon or the earth is flat, that's their right.
Government censorship - absolutely.Let me decide for myself what is and what is not a lie. I don't want Musk, Zuckerberg, or anyone else in a position to decide what is and what is not fact. I certainly don't want the government deciding it. Let each platform choose their own standards and let me decide which platform I choose to use.
Censorship is completely off the table, or at least it should be.
Any publisher has an obligation to the public. Absolute free speech is not a thing.Twitter should censor the things it posts as a company, not what people post.
That's what we had before, and it's what Facebook still does. A platform that censors what it's participants post can't be trusted as a legitimate platform.
