Congrats to Nathan. Also, wish you had been RS'd last year (provided you would have wanted to be) so you could be in the line up this year. Think we are probably title favorites with Burak in there, provided the Clark injury isn't destructive to Cory's chances.

I get that. It's obviously his choice, and if he didn't want to do it, I don't begrudge him that at all. The impression given out at all times has been that it was the coaches who made the decision. If it's not, then obviously no problem.

No. Even Tom has publicly repeated that a redshirt/no red shirt is done in consultation with the family and the wrestler.

I have a lot of respect for all that make it through the wrestling room at Iowa (or any college for that matter). That respect goes to great admiration for all those who succeed on the mat and in the wrestling room - a truly incredible feat.
