The way too early nationals tickets thread

i might just get some outside the arena for each session..

my issue is finding a place to stay...i've had 3 airbnb's cancel my confirmed reservations now, and not really excited to spend $300/night on a hotel room for just me.
I got my flights today. After seeing the arena at 70% capacity last year there’s no way I’m paying a premium on tickets.

There are decent hotels for $125 range if you’re willing to be 15 minutes out.

Is it generally easy to find tickets outside? I already have a room. Will be first time going, so not sure what to expect.

Two years ago, I bought 4 all session tickets (up in the nose bleed section but all together) for $90 per all-session ticket on Wednesday the day before the tournament. Quite the steal. Last year I got my tickets early and paid over $350 per ticket (probably could have waited and got a similar last minute deal). Ordered my tickets a week ago, four all session tickets were $1500. To be honest, most of these arenas nowadays don't really have a bad seat, some just better than others. If you are willing to drive to kc with no tickets in hand,.book a room in advance and not worry about seat location, id probably take the chance and buy from people dumping tickets last minute

Do keep in mind that they don’t do paper tickets anymore. So be prepared with your ticketmaster account details to transfer/access.

Our tickets last year were pretty high up, but the arena was so empty we sat lower bowl right at the 50 yard line sessions 1-5. Didn’t try to move down for the finals, but we totally could have.

The NCAA has really killed the event by giving fewer tickets to teams and then the very few they do release only being single session.

I would expect KC to be lot fuller than Detroit. Ton of Iowa, ISU, Mizz, Ok St fans will make the short drive. And nobody wanted to go to Detroit!

There were a decent number of empty seats in Detroit… There was a crap ton of empty seats in Tulsa. I guess we’ll see about Kansas City.

Anybody have some for sale? Or a good lead on some?

I might have 2 upper level seats, I will know for sure tomorrow. They will be in the AFA section.
Thanks. You can hit me up at my username @yahoo.com if you don’t want to converse on here.

724-five one six-4444. I have made several all session purchases already. Can show receipts. Fair warning, I’m a Penn State guy…post over there if you need to verify my e-identity.

That’s what I did…selected a hotel on the outskirts. KC is easy to navigate.

I don't think Amattaro has any lowers left right now but if he posts again, know that he is legit.

Face value on all session lower bowl, on the straight way, is $450.
Last year in Detroit we had 4 extras all session tickets upper bowl and took a bath. On Friday, after the quarters, we sold the remaining tickets for $50 a piece.
The only people wanting to buy them were scalpers. Weird.

I have ability to get two extras (uppers, expecting to get exact location today). Total for two all sessions $990z
724 - five one six - 4444
