night football this week. I believe it was Collingsworth who said DB's should wear gloves closely color matched to the opponent's jerseys. Doing this makes it a little harder for the refs to notice a tug or two. Makes sense to me.

We had two pairs of gloves for DB's and WR's for away and home. We would wear opposite color of our jersey for that reason and it just looked cool too. Not that WR's get called for it often but they too can gain an advantage with their hands and benefit from the same "optical illusion"

I am thinking there is NFL rule that gloves cannot match color of opponents jersey. But I am old and forgetful so maybe not

Well, everybody must not have gotten the word as the DB's were wearing white gloves against dark jerseys.
And your point is?? Wearing gloves that that closely match your opponents jersey is nothing new. No need to be a smart ass.

The announcers for the Packers game said the same thing. Makes sense to me.

Yep, Chris Spielmann mentioned it too. Miss that guy calling college football. I don’t think he could take the terrible officiating in college ball since he couldn’t go off about how bad it was ala, Outback Bowl vs Florida with Sunbelt officiating crew:

I didn’t realize the refs missed four field goals and an extra point to lose the game for the Pack. Got it.
I didn't say anything about the missed FGs or the missed XP. Nor did I imply the packers lost the game because of the officials. I saw missed calls which went against the lions too.

Wow, I wish I hadn't watched that video, now I'm just as mad as I was back on the day it all happened.

My bad. I was on a different page than you regarding the loss.
