They stole Utey and they stole our swagger. Both are keys to the run we were on, but we weren't loose tonight and whatever groove we were in is now gone. For now.

They weren't world beaters, either. We held Trimble in check and kept the game close without any significant scoring from Jarrod. Kudos to OUR depth keeping us in the game.

We took some bad shots and made some bad passes. I give Maryland credit and some blame to us.

There were some road calls, but what do you get when you go on the road? It wasn't criminal. Just crucial, at times.

Rinse and repeat. If we give that type of effort every game, we'll still win a crap ton of games. We need to be cleaner, but there were a lot of positives to take from the game. Things to work on, too.

Beat Northwestern and get back on track. We're in first place and suddenly, human.

When was the last time any team has run through the Big 10 regular season undefeated? It was going to happen at some point. Better this game than against Illinois.

It was one bad game on the road in the Big10. Swallow hard and move on. This loss is not a fatal wound.

Not even close. This is simply life in the B1G.

People hate the "learn from this loss" phrase, but there's no choice. We lost. Don't let the things that beat us happen again.

We didn't lose by 15 or 20. We didn't get blown out. We played a game that we could have won down to the final minutes. Big stage. Learning experience. Bank the memories from this one.

Exactly.
