But we beat the Nazis Natural, so why are we living under their rules?Of course it matters. Winning always matters. Winners set the rules.

Guess you better take doe the American flag to then. It represents a rebellion and flew over slavery as well.
Where are these Nazi flags? But we beat the Nazis Natural, so why are we living under their rules?
Where is your right to not be put in jail without being convicted of something, or at least charged with something first? My point exactly.
Just more PC brainwashing...preparing him for the road to the cotton field...and no doubt he will be signing merrily as he goes...
I just returned from there. Slaves built that place too and it all went to crap when the Christians got power.Very true...decadent, weakened by politics and war, illegal immigration, allowing enemies of the empire a spot at the table. Are you sure you weren't in one of my World Civilizations classes that I taught?
There is an argument that Christians may have made it better...but Gibbons would probably disagree with me...I just returned from there. Slaves built that place too and it all went to crap when the Christians got power.
Sure, the dark ages really turned things around. There is an argument that Christians may have made it better...but Gibbons would probably disagree with me...

The design and theme was created in 1818. The addition of states stars has not fundamentally changed the flag.do you mean this flag?
The 27th flag of the United States became the official flag on July 4th, 1960.
what slavery has this flag been flying over since its acceptance in 1960?

1818 is when it was decided to keep 13 stripes and one star for each state. Prior to that a stripe was added for each new state as well.
See what an Ames education does to you?I see all those "IOWA" t-shirts in Iowa City and always figured it stood for "I Oughta Went to Ames"
No its not. Both are horrible times and enormous embarrassments to each country. Are you suggesting that there is some huge divide between how slaves were treated from start to finish versus how the Nazis treated the Jews? If you are, than its not a a debate i am going to have with you.
More because all the new ones are made in China.Would burning all of our current flags be bad since that could contribute to man made global climate change?
yes - please make your case.
You thought it through didn't you. Respect.Your level of ignorance as to what happened between the two is amazing. I'm not going to waste my time because I won't be able to change that about you.

One could make an valid argument that the conditions new slaves went through on their way to America was as bad as what the Jews faced. Many watched their families killed in raids by other tribes and many died on route to the Americas in the inhumane conditions on slave ships, the majority of which were not American. To compare the treatment of slaves in the US to the holocaust is beyond asinine though. Most slaves lived in conditions comparable to poor whites. Some lived better lives than poor whites. Sadly the worst conditions for slaves was often found on black owned plantations. People tend to forget that free black southerners owned slaves at a higher rate than whites did. People are purposely quite ignorant of the real history, because emotionally, they can't handle it.You CAN'T be serious?

The confederate battle flag is no more a symbol of slavery or racism than the American flag. Only a few short decades ago and even occasionally today you see blacks proudly displaying it as a sign of Southern pride and heritage. Those who think otherwise are absolutely ignorant. The real history is that slavery lasted in this country for 246 years. A bit longer than what occured under the 3rd Reich. There is nothing emotional about that.
How many slaves were killed while being SLAVES over that 246 year period? Do you know the answer?
This country's Constitution called a black person 2/3 of a white person.
How did the KKK treat slaves? Were they hung in masses?
This is all i am going to say. Please dont insinuate I am ignorant of the history of either event.
My initial comment had to do with a black person having to live with blatant symbols of slavery (the confederacy) in modern life. Some feel these symbols should exist. I dont.

I'm guessing you mean about black slave owners:I often wonder about those poor whites as they watched their husbands, or wives, or children sold and taken away. And how those poor whites were not allowed to learn to read. Thank the Heavens there was an Underground Railroad to help those poor whites escape, because we know they couldn't just pick up and move if they felt like it!
Wait...those were the slaves. As to stats mentioned above, I want to see a link. I have NEVER heard such stats before.
I'm guessing you mean about black slave owners:

I suggest you do the same.Oh boy. How do I put this? Consider the source............Just a few statistics in and I knew this was WAY OFF. Sorry. I'm not trying to be offensive but here's your chance, take my advice and research the topic on your own, with other sources. You'll find you've been had.
