AMES, Iowa — An 18-year-old Iowa State University student has been arrested after encouraging a group of people to take "creep shots" of two women.
Jack Erselius is facing two charges of solicitation to commit a felony after sending a group of people sexually explicit photos of two University of Iowa female students on the Kik messenger app and asking the group to follow them and take "creep shots", or sexually suggestive images, of the victims.
Under the username "goonboy3433," Erselius also revealed that he was tracking the victims' locations on Snapchat, a social media platform that allows users to share their live locations with friends.
Both victims were high school classmates of Erselius at Montezuma High School and were granted a no contact order against the suspect.
Erselius is being held on a $20,000 bail and if convicted, according to Iowa law, Erselius could face no more than five years in jail and fines not exceeding $10,245.
