I don't know if I'm more pissed at Nathan's for being so sensitive over this or Joey for endorsing Vegan food.
Competitive eating is disturbing.

honestly, if i were the International Federation of Competitive Eating, I'd ban him for life for going vegan.

Too bad. Tradition on the 4th is hometown parade, mom makes spaghetti with homemade sauce, and we watch Joey kill it

Honestly, the hot dog contest has had longer legs, but for pure pageantry, there was nothing -- and I mean NOTHING -- that held a candle to (rest in peace) Philadelphia's Wing Bowl:

If were talking sheer number of wieners in one's mouth, I feel like OP's mom should be in the discussion.
Not that I watched the whole video, but at around the 3 minute mark she shows her technique for putting two wieners in her mouth at the same time.
I appreciate her exuberance and her generous mouth but her technique is way too toothy for my liking.
