After yesterday's win in Lincoln that moved Iowa to 12-0 on the season, the Hawkeyes now have a 35.6% chance of going through their regular season undefeated according to the "experts" at ESPN. They would not unveil the math used in their calculations, only that after eye-balling some of the highlights they were fairly certain Iowa would still lose a game even though the regular season is over.

If, yes if, we won the national championship I wonder if they might still say we haven't played anyone. Especially if we don't go through an SEC opponent.

I did have to laugh at ESPNs use of verbs yesterday: at the end of the Nebraska-Iowa highlights on ESPN's TCU game was, "Iowa rolls to a 28-20 victory". I guess their quota on "survives" was used up on those games we won by more than one score.

In fairness I think that includes the championship game
