A Republican county official in Georgia escorted two operatives working with an attorney for former President Donald Trump into the county’s election offices on the same day a voting system there was breached, newly obtained video shows. In the surveillance video, which was obtained by CNN, Cathy Latham, a former GOP chairwoman of Coffee County who is under criminal investigation for posing as a fake elector in 2020, escorts a team of pro-Trump operatives to the county’s elections office on January 7, 2021, the same day a voting system there is known to have been breached.

It will be interesting to see how many co-defendants seek a plea deal. Meadows would be a big turn for the government.

I think many will decide to flip. I have not researched GA statutes yet but it has been mentioned that a RICO conviction carries a mandatory minimum of 5 years. If true, self interest (vs. loyalty to the mob boss) will be tested.

To this day, it is pretty amazing. An obnoxious and arrogant big city New Yorker, born wealthy, and beloved by poor small town rubes, who would normally loathe such a person.

Trump identified easy marks somewhere around 2010 and decided the opportunity was too lucrative to pass up.

The energy on the right generated by his public demands that Obama produce his birth certificate had to please him immensely — a fvcking ocean of gullible rubes ripe for exploitation.

From there it was just a matter of picking the right moment to seek the GOP nomination. That would be the easy fleece for huge amounts of money. He never thought he would win. It was all a huge money grab (at a time when banks would no longer lend to him).
