As to the deportations, I’m not against the idea of deporting unproductive criminals after due process. I am 100% against deporting productive people who are in a legal status now regardless of how they got here, and I am 100% against putting people in prison without due process, even highly likely gang bangers. Everyone deserves their day in court, everyone.

And Trump could get this guy back tomorrow if he wanted. Or is he too much of a pussy to take on…checks notes…El Salvador?

I think you misread that unless you are talking about something other than Trump’s overall approval. Down 1% from March and 4% from Feb. page 8. Still shockingly high to me though so I have to admit he remains strangely popular - again the impact of his trade war hasn’t worked its way into the economy yet. It it is coming.

His approval on the economy is down 6% over the past two months.

Also, look at the independent numbers. He is getting hammered. Right now the thing propping him up is the stalwart support of the GOP. He has that locked down for sure.

They believe we will see a "mild recession" with growth around 1. 25 (+/-) by YE 2025 and then a ramp back up 2.5+ by Q2 2026. He is obviously very focused on personal lending and his major concern was large banks and commercial lending.


He did say inflation coming in lower was a surprise and improved the outlook.
