Dang, as a fan, wish they both were going. They're 2 of Iowa's best. Nice to see where the Iowa kids stack up against the rest. **interesting to see how Shapiro does up at 195 (is he going?)

Hey Ed...who lives out west (a long ways) and would be a game changer? Rhetorical, no need to answer.
My opinion, we have a legit shot with the kid out west but its around 30-40 percent. Sounds like he is open to it which means our staff and guys have to show out for him and put on a good, honest sell.
Not my place to say yet... And yes, 2018.
From my experience.. Recruiting in July is great.. necessary and important. From now until November we will hear about unofficial visits, official visits ( typically Oct) but most of the time these young men all say they love it here. ( That's the theme early) they are trying to sort it out .. etc.
But... Until close to signing day many are up in air..many take all official visits etc.
The hawk Wrestling staff..is working OVERTIME .
Hopefully we can get some of these great prospects.. but stay patient .. it's a lot of fun to speculate!

As of today Flo has RBY committed to Penn State (if RBY is the Oregon kid). Has something changed that Flo doesn't know about or isn't discussing? Haven't been on the sight for several weeks so feel lost...
Yes RBY is currently a PSU commit from Zona. Doesn't mean he can't visit and rumors have swirled about him since Teasdale flipped to PSU...
Depends on your perspective. For example, for SocalHawk, Az is east of him but still out West.

I heard it is RBY & Teasdale. That fits the geography & what I'd really like to do to King Carl.
Who cares? It was one of the two--Arizona or Oregon. Far be it from me to tell another man where to circumscribe his Western Frontier. Some cowpokes will tell you Colorado or Wyoming is West, but that is Wrestling Flyover Country, so I repeat--who cares?
Fortunately for you, I love Tom Waits, so you get a pass.....
Please, just ONE person step up and tell me you consider Arizona the west, instead of the southwest.
