This Weekend!?!

I'm sure most won't agree with me, but I feel Jordan and Brands both start college careers at 157 and end it at 165. I hate to say it but I feel Jordan has a better career by the smallest of margins.

What about Hidlay?? What's his status...know he has been to IC before and said he "loved" it per his now protected twitter...

Guessing: West is Josiah Rider / East is Hidlay

But doesn't really solve the 133 thing unless staff feels good about either Mejia or Teske or even Spencer being that big down the road.

What makes ya think Rider? Kinda figured he was out of the picture

It's got to be RBY. On another thread, in response to a statement that RBY was a lock to Penn State, somebody said they had to bite their tongue because something big is happening on the 12th. That pretty much spells it out.
Forgot about that thread...

I think Jordan starts at 157 and finishes there whereas I think Brands will be a 157 to start and ends at 165. It could work out well

Could work out well for a low end team trophy, but neither of those kids are the game changers we need to get back on top.

I think Rocky is different from the other two brothers in that he hasn't been as focused on wrestling (as evidenced by his fishing exploits) and really could be elite at the next level. I know that he as a sophomore really pushed Marinelli in the room.

Of course they'll take him. He's a top 55 guy and a legacy, but if they continue to recruit like they have been, they may not push too hard.

That was kinda my question....they'll take him
But he's not a priority...OR he's a top guy on their board...

Don't really know other than I don't think Sasso is coming to Iowa and Rider could be a 149 and CO kids do come to Iowa.
But if its RBY that is interesting. Kind of tells me 2 things. This staff must know Teasdale is out and Cael must be playing RBY out till the end to keep the amount Iowa has to pay for RBY up to hurt Iowa. Similar to what Iowa could be doing to ISU with Teske in the end.

IMO RBY / Hidlay would just be Epic. I would also be ok with a Sasso / Silva commitment too. Really think if Hidlay is a future 184 gotta lock him down and pray for a 133 from Teasdale/RBY or Silva.

I am not as worried about 149 as 133 / 184 right now. Plus a lot of 2019 149's including a kid from Blair. Maybe Perry & Evans can play that card. Guessing the staff somewhat thinks of this plan and that's why the Lugo Transfer allows this to happen.

I could see that I suppose. I'm just not sure how much the fishing takes away from his wrestling. Like a couple big tourneys a weekend, or tourneys ever single weekend? Idk. I can absolutley see the potential in both Nelson and Rocky, but we are currently getting beat by teams that aren't recruiting on potential. They are getting the established hammers. That's all I'm saying.

It's a tough question for anyone unless someone on tOSU coaching staff is on this board and entertaining questions. If you asked them, yes, he's a priority. However, if you look at their recruiting success, he probably isn't. Imo

He's also hurt by him not wrestling in the Ironman this year, which he absolutely could've won. I think he gets his first ironman title this year beating the likes of David Carr, Conor Brady, among others.

Don't bet anything important to you on that.

So be it; I don't see Teasdale flipping back. Teske sees more opportunity to start at ISU at what most consider his natural 125 career weight. Only possibility is RBY, but for some reason I think he eventually ends up at ASU. Complete guess.

Nah, I think Lee bumps to 133 &
Teske wrestles 125 at THE University of Iowa!

It'd be smart for Evans to play that card...for CAMPBELL. Kind of weird if he's recruiting for Iowa right now.

It was said that Rocky is not one of the 2 recruits that was referred to in the tweet.

Rocky, Hidlay and RBY...good group

RBY, Hidlay, Rider, Nelson, Rocky, and Cassioppi...holy crap that would be one crazy good class. Not as good on paper as PSU but I'd take RBY over Teasdale, Hidlay over Whitlake, and Cassioppi over Nevills. Plus Rider is a future stud & Nelson/Rocky come from good stock.
