Just like the coal mines, I guess they could go learn how to code. According to the technology grifting branch of the govt, the US needs better coders. This would fix the H-1B at the same time.

What is crazy is that this whole thing started with Trump. He signed an executive order to force Bytedance to divest, which Biden overturned. Then a Rubio, Gallagher, and Krishnamoorthi sponsored a bill which received broad bipartisan support and Biden signed into law. And now Trump wants to save it because it would benefit him politically.

If Biden had upheld and enacted "Trump's Ban", then Trump would be able to reverse it during his first month. This likely would give MORE credit to Trump and allow another arrow to be slung at Biden.

It really ended up being a lose lose for Biden so this route might be the path of lesser.

My understanding is TikTok was an app used by teenagers and narcissists. Not sorry to see it go, however, I disagree with the motives behind banning it.
