if someone pays my way in and free tailgate food and beverage i can be that sheltering fat buddy jk
I am guessing the food and beverages are a bigger selling point than the ticket. There will be thousands of tickets available for almost nothing outside the stadium, given the weather. Ten bucks at most.
If you're dressed right and have the proper amount of "lubrication" then snow games can be a blast. The only down side is the wind -- for that you need to sit on the sheltered side of a fat friend.
I bought enough lubrication to watch the game at home while listening to Beth, if you know what i'm talkin' about.....
...Talkin' bout KY.
You underestimate the university. The grounds crew will be working all night long to have the field cleared. If the snow isn't tapering off early the parking lots might be a little interesting. My thinking is there's a real possibility the game's start time may get pushed back till 2:30.
If IC gets really dumped on, they're not going to have enough time to clear the stadium of snow.
Today < 1 inch, tonight 5-8 inches per Weather Channel.I'm not sure what weather forecast everyone is looking at, but yesterday there was no snow forecast for IC, and today the indication is less than an inch?
How tough do you think security will be on bringing drinks into the game? Usually isn't a problem but with the new rules...
Better hope it doesn't get moved or it's going to be taken off TV.. 0% chance of that happening
The high winds will negate the passing and kicking game.
The wet snow will negate the running game.
Bottom Line: Postpone the Iowa-Purdue until Sunday,
One day late is better than horrible playing conditions
on Saturday.
Could be one for ages ;-) Maybe We'll be able to tell our grandkids how we were there for the snow game when Iowa clinched their first B1G West championship!
