Timing/amount of snow...

The end of the 1A football game in Madison was fun to watch with a heavily falling snow. The wind was not a big factor. Happened to be a great game too.

Only the strong survive.;) Go Hawk fans!
Still snowing in Madtown. Should have the stadium in decent shape by 2:30.

Drove up from Muscatine and roads were snow covered as it was still comming down to past West Liberty. Got to IC and it was bright, sunny and cleared roads. KUDOS to the Kinnick grounds crew, the U of i street crews and Iowa City crews. They had a narrow window of time and performed like the football team!

Sent this video to some of the SEC antagonists who poo-poo Big Ten Footbal and the Hawks. Come play at Kinnick in November, please.

That was a rough drive this morning. I had to take a couple of detours on I-80 because of closures. What is normally a 2 and a half hour drive took a little over four hours and I still missed kick off. However, it's not every year you have a chance to see Iowa go for 11-0 and once I got to the stadium I had a great time.
