Tired of Losing to Wisconsin

Kirk, Brian, Mary... I really do not give a rip who but the message from many of us is we are sick and tired of losing to Wisconsin and having their defense make our offense look inept. Real tired of losing the physical battle too when we are supposed to be tough and have this supposed great strength and conditioning program.

Hats off to them and much respect.....but to Kirk and company you are on notice to get it figured out for next year. Stop hemming and hawing about execution and get tough. No more excuses.

Way to make a post about facts vs emoition after a loss....u do realize KF and WI are 7-7 over the last 14 yrs. Well thought out! Jeesus.

It's not an excuse it's facts. GO back through the series under KF. That really was the turning point where Wisconsin took off and Iowa stayed up/down under Kirk. We were coming off the Orange Bowl season and that was the first of many close losses. If Iowa wins that one in 2009, who knows what happens.

LOL...great reply, why didnt u jst pick out the 7 years WI won and use those while youre at it...again, the poster said in general hes sick of KF losing to WI...but in reality, its been pretty much .500 since KF has had his players n coaches...well thought out there pal...now get back to that video game.

So in other words our record is outstanding in the last 7? That's the last half of our 14 match ups. No possibility of finding a trend with that sample size!

Exactly...so the trend using the best sample size is pretty much .500 unless u want to throw in what Hayden left him...either way still about .500....which confirms how dmb of a post this is...

I know that Iowa is 1-4 since 2013 against Wisconsin, scoring 52 total offensive points, including 24 in one game.....which we lost.

Sh** needs to end. Not f***ing take a one year hiatus. It needs to f***ing end. You're welcome.

KF vs. Wisconsin

2000 - 2009 decade: 6-4

2010 - 2017 (first eight years of this decade): 1-5

Certainly been a turnaround in the 2010s, not the highly competitive series of previous decade.

I wish we didn't give him a pass but reality is, we do as fans, the media consistently gives him one, and our beloved AD Barta gives him every pass he could desire
consistently inconsistent is correct.. so is mediocre.

Nice memory. Hell, go all the way back to Fry era if it makes you feel better about this series. The reality is if Stave doesnt trip and fumble at goal line we are 0 for wisconsin since orange bowl ended and we got back to our 5 loss a season norm (unless we get gift from schedule makers like '15). They own us these days. Maybe you can have some beers with Debby fans and reminisce about the good old days....

2010.

Iowa hasnt been the same program since that season.

It was also the end of the Norm Parker era wich is likely the bigger factor.

Wisconsin is a good example of why switching coaches isnt the end of the world. They didnt fall off the map through any of their last 4 changes like some people on here seem to think will happen to Iowa.

Wisconsin is the real OL U, not Iowa. Wisconsin is big, physical and fast every year in the OL. Hell, they didn't have a senior in their starting OL yesterday and dominated us, while some want to claim we are too young? Horse crap! Much the same on defense for Wisconsin too. They win games in the trenches and they are damned good at it. They win even with a below average QB. By comparison, our OL and DL aren't even in the same league.

I'm looking at our record and offensive output since they moved to a 3-4. Knowing our coaches im not sure we ever get that figured out as long as they have Leonard. 8-4 is a good year though!
 
There is no reason or excuse that we should not be able to have the same success Wisconsin does.

It all starts with Barta. he has absolutely no accountability for his programs. Iowa will never see a change unless Bruce Harreld grows some balls and fires Barta

You're projecting. That comes across as equally emotional between the syntax and the argument you made. You just cherry-picked an arbitrary period where you'd look the best.

12-9 since Alvarez turned around Wisconsin program, 7-3 since Alvarez stepped down after hanging on too long, and Wisconsin has won 5 of the last 6. That is indeed a discernible advantage and trend. Maybe he's overreacting but you're under-reacting.
