I was listening to a podcast about a town where they are opening up a refuge shelter for a lot of immigrants. There was a town meeting where many among the public were screaming hate and abuse at immigrants and at their city officials who dared to help them.

One guy suggested putting up a sign saying "Jesus loves you and so do we" and then acting, as a town, according to that principle

He was shouted down.

What do you think?

My take is that a lot of non Christians try and use values they don't hold against Christians to push their agenda on them

They believe in a magical utopia where all people will be equal on every level if they are just given the opportunity. That is not based in reality. The US/UN are not the arbitrators of what is good for the world and the rest of the world does not have the same values the globalists do. Forcing immigration on the West will/has created chaos and it looks like it is leading to a global war. This seems very un-christian like.

I don't remember Jesus saying it is good to help the less fortunate only when you can profit off of their resources and get rich from helping them. This is what the globalists are doing.

I don’t remember Jesus saying “when the less fortunate show up at your doorstep, drag them off it and kick them away” either.

As a Christian myself I’m pretty sick of the right playing holier than thou while espousing policies that are the antithesis of Christ’s teachings.
