I'm a fan of whats to come of this Iowa team in 2016. Good returning starters and KF has some good young talent getting experience this year. Our schedule is more difficult next year, however I'm a fan. Its always fun watching a good Iowa team vs the better bigten teams.
If Weigers is as good or better than CJ, we'll be fine. KF has had some good teams when he has solid QB play. Remove Banks and Tate from their years and Iowa isn't that good. I'll throw Stanzi in there too. Those are his three best QBs and assuming all ends well with CJ, we'll add him to the Ferentz QB Mt Rushmore.
The best QBs in college are not always on the best teams. However, KF teams are best when they have solid QB play. This goes to the coaching staff and their development of line play and other role players.
