They still have to have teams they can beat in there, and why piss off a chunk of the nations viewers. Nobody wants to see a 12 team playoff with 6 teams each from the B1G and the SEC...

Not sure where this narrative is coming from. Only 1 team from the Big 12 will get in most years, whereas 4 from the B1G will make it. Doesn’t sound “a lot” easier to me.
MC is a football coach, I don't believe he is much into the CEO role that many blue bloods programs require.
In Ames, he has a certain amount of privacy for him and his family. He won't be the highest paid coach in college football, but the benefit of having family time, job security are benefits to someone who's family is important.

There is a huge difference. ISU isn't in a P2 conference. The p4 is going away. The financial difference will be massive and glaringly obvious in the near future. BTW what in my prior post said anything related to the Iowa Hawkwyes? My comments were regarding the Big 12 and it's rapid decline.
Family time? Is the ISU job some sort of part time gig? What an insult to your school! Job security? Campbell would end up never having to worry about money again if he took the buckeye job.
