More than a year after he was critically injured in an automobile accident, Tracy Morgan will return to host “Saturday Night Live” in his first announced performance since the accident. NBC said on Monday that Mr. Morgan, an alumnus of “Saturday Night Live” and the comedy series “30 Rock,” is scheduled to host “S.N.L.” on Oct. 17 in one of its first new episodes of the fall season. He has been recovering since he was injured in a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in June 2014, when a luxury van he was riding in was struck from behind by a Walmart tractor-trailer. Mr. Morgan said in an interview on NBC’s “Today” show in June that he hoped to return to comedy when he was able, adding, “When I’m there, you’ll know it. I’ll get back to making you laugh. I promise you.”

NBC said that the new season of “Saturday Night Live,” its 41st, will begin on Oct. 3 with an episode hosted by the pop musician Miley Cyrus, followed by an episode on Oct. 10 hosted by the comedian Amy Schumer. Additional musical guests for these episodes will be announced later, NBC said.

SNL was great last season, very funny writers and cast. Unfortunately, you get people who no longer watch it claim that it sucks. It's very similar to people who don't watch the NBA but say it sucks. These people have opinions about things they don't watch, which makes them morons.

What happened to Tracy Morgan and his friend was a tragedy. His friend was killed and Morgan will never be the same again, physically or psychologically. I feel bad for him for what he has gone through.

Having said that, he just isn't very funny. Never was.

This, the man is an ass, and not in the good way.

Was going to say the same thing, only with less tact....'I hope the accident knocked some funny into him'

If you don't find Tracy Morgan funny you are a dumbass. You guys must be Jeff Dunham or Larry the Cable Guy fans.
Feel free to prove us wrong. Post some YouTube clips. If they're funny then I'll recant my claim.

Why aren't people bright enough to understand comedy is a personal preference. Just because you might not find someone funny does not mean they aren't funny. It means you prefer a different brand of humor

I can't decide which is worse: Astronaut Jones or Brian Fellows. Maybe he will do Bill cosby.

You don't understand. It's important to me that everyone likes all the same comedians I like, and only the same comedians I like.

Same goes for music.

Brian Fellow was hilarious.
Yes he was.

Brian Fellow: I'm Brian Fellow!

Heather Rosenfeld: Yes, I know.

Brian Fellow: That goat is weird!

Heather Rosenfeld: This is Thunder, she's a spotted milking goat, and she was birthed during a severe rain storm, hence the name!

Brian Fellow: He has devil eyes!

Heather Rosenfeld: Well it's actually a "she" Doctor Fellow, or a "doe" in goat talk.

Brian Fellow: Goats can't talk, that's crazy!

Heather Rosenfeld: (Confused) Well, what I mean by "goat talk" is the lingo that goaters like myself use. Of course, goats can't talk!

Brian Fellow: That's what I said.

Heather Rosenfeld: Yeah, th-they can't talk.

Brian Fellow: I bet if this goat could talk, he would say things like curse words and call people "Doo-Doo Head", and sing naughty songs....he's weird!

Heather Rosenfeld: Well, its a "she".

Brian Fellow: I'm Brian Fellow!

Heather Rosenfeld: I know. I know.

I'd like to thank the fuzzy bug. But not the bird!
