i went up to the uni-dome for a game against iowa with a friend whos sister went to UNI and got us tickets behind the bucket.

i remember kingsbury giving the finger behind his back to the hecklers as he would run down to the opposite end of the court

I think you should let your play do all the talking but I’m also 400 years old.

Couldn’t agree more. Nothing better than punching a trash talker in the mouth by dominating them on the court. I like players who speak softly but carry a big stick. A good hard clean foul is also worth its weight in gold.

Did you watch basketball in the 80s and 90s? Trash talking has been around at least as long as I've been watching, and might have been worse 30 years ago?

If anyone ever talked more quality trash than Larry Bird, it would be Reggie Miller.
