In this I learned about "man-splaining" and that these freshmen are offended by "Freshmen." They need to be called "First-Year Students." I think life is going to be painful for these kids.

I wish someone would explain how "Poor" and "Freshman" are out-dated.

I remember George Carlin talking about "Poor people used to live in slums. Now, the economically-disadvantaged occupy sub-standard housing in the inner cities." Keep making up euphemisms and they'll keep getting poorer.

Grinnell college use to announce their freshman basketball players as "first year" and list them in the program as that.

Not sure if they still do. I just figured it was a nod to the radical lesbians.
