Truck driver extracted from his semi after hours long stand off with Houston police.

They eventually ripped the side of the flag emblazoned semi and sent in a K-9 unit. Sucks for the dog to be exposed to risk. The driver led police on a low speed chase with multiple tires out, lost more when he hit spike strips, then sat in the driver's seat revving his engine for hours as he resisted commands to exit the truck.
Police believe he might have been impaired... Something to think about as you share the roads this holiday weekend.
