Trump had millions fewer votes.

We’ll see, everyone’s going to try and pin the loss on one issue and immigration is certainly a big one.

To me that just doesn’t explain why Harris underperformed so badly…it’s not like those voters went to Trump, they just didn’t vote for POTUS at all.
To me, the biggest question is why didn’t Trump lose significant support after 1/6 and all the other disgraceful and disgusting behavior he exhibited after the 2020 election. Why did almost all of his supporters stay with him? Was there ever a line he couldn’t cross?

It seems not. And that is, if nothing else, puzzling.

I think it’s impossible to randomly assemble a couple hundred white males, mainly midwestern, mainly sports fans, and have only 10% / 20% who voted for Trump.

Particularly suspect are those who regurgitate every criticism in the world about Democrats, while never criticizing Trump other than an occasional “Trump is bad, but Harris…”
Well considering 50 of those hundred are ONE poster, 40 of them line up with Huey and the other 10 are almost too stupid to vote (that’s me), there’s a good chance.

I'm going to give you a huge hint.. you're in a cult.

It isn’t random. Most people here are associated with the university of Iowa somehow and are college educated. Many of us have professional degrees. We are exactly the type of people who wouldn’t vote for Trump.

I didn’t vote for him but I didn’t vote for VP Harris either. And I’m still glad I chose to leave that part of the ballot blank.
Frankly it wasn’t going to matter because he carried Florida easily, but to me it was a personal choice I made and I’d do it again.

Who'd you vote for?

All GOP?

Want to know something my mom, my sister, and i asked for absentee ballots....none came in and we all had to vote in person. The told my mom that a mysterious virus reset the system MULTIPLE times. I'm sure it was nothing
Which county?
You should tell Rachel Maddow and get some exposure on this.

BTW, here's the quote you can add to you sig since you lost the best:

"¡Viva la libertad, carajo!"

Millions. That is a WHOLE lotta people like me that voted for him last time and didn't this time.

I will be expecting apologies in this thread from all the sanctimonious jerks on here that pompously told me who I was going to vote for even though there is zero reason to lie about it on an anonymous message board.
Kamala had over 10million fewer voters, yet they didn’t switch from her to voting for Trump. They just simply disappeared…

As the totals come in, it appears Trump will slightly exceed his 2020 totals, so the premise is wrong.

White males with college degrees voted 47% Harris and 50% Teump.

Overall, though, according to your link, 56% of Trump voters do not have a college degree.

This board has non-whites on it.

Thanks for your perspective.

The Democrats had a strong border bill proposed and the Republicans killed it so Trump would win the election by accusing the Democrats of supporting open borders. Just FYI.

Anyone being honest knows that was not a legitimate border bill. Don't believe me, read it. It would have allowed 5k illegals a day! Obama's Home Security Secretary said 1k was too many to handle. Most of the money went to process illegals, not stop them. Oh and by the way, the only reason they proposed it at all was because of the polls they were seeing after the disastrous influx of migrants. They didn't need the bill to stop the flow, they just wanted a talking point for the election and I guess it worked on you.

They tried to play games and lost. In their twisted minds the plan was either they pass the border bill and win and get everything they wanted, or blame Trump and to them, that was also a win.

problem is, people saw through it.

You are really just talking about a handful of posters that have multiple posting personality disorder.

This board is 99% white and male. The demographic voted for Trump by 60% to 20%.

Yet no more than 10% of HBOT would admit they were voting for him. That is as close to statistically impossible as you can get. So, yeah, most of the Trump voters here lied about it.
Wrong. I waa upfront about not voting for either and is exactly what I did. As mentioned fewer votes by many. And I didnt vote last time either. Get over it.

Do the math. Many young white dems stayed at home. Didnt get to participate in the Biden miracle.

Tim was a huge blunder. He s over the top.

Abortion mobile at convention ovee the top.

Giddy 14 yo girl v school bully. One was seen by young white males as not capable. Not Presidential. So they stayed home.

Huey and Kelcer under alts acted like mean girls in hs.

That is objectively wrong. So far he has 73.455,000 votes while in 2020 he ended up with 74,224,000. That is less than one million difference. However, there are about four million votes yet to be counted in California. He only needs 800k of those to EXCEED his 2020 total.

TJ pointed that out earlier.

All of the election data points are pretty solid except for democrat turn out in 2020, that's the only outlier.

The GOP senator who helped write it would disagree with you.

And the co-authoring Arizona Senator (who didn’t run this time) admitted in an interview that they both knew it was very flawed and had almost no chance of passing.
Yeah, but ONLY 5000 a day can cross and then an alarm goes off…super easy.
Anyone who was buying that is really not thinking it through and Dems loved it anyway cause then they got to scream that Trump and the dumb republicans blocked a good bill. The electorate apparently wasn’t all that stupid.

And that includes big increases by other demographics.

Sinema has no credibility here. That 5,000 number that keeps getting mentioned is misleading and you know it.

Republicans have yet to offer an alternative that would have bipartisan support, don’t pretend otherwise.

There's no reason to draw that conclusion. Trump did better against Harris with all Americans because Harris got fewer votes. He did better with minorities for the same reason - Harris got fewer votes across all demographics than Biden did. This is pretty simple math.

You hold on to that. You dismiss Sinema because she left the Dem plantation. How dare she!
Here’s the “bill” the voters/taxpayers/citizens support:
Build the wall
Deport illegals who can stay in Mexico and ask for asylum there.
That was apparently the “alternative” that was approved on Tuesday,

I dismiss sinema because virtually everything she ran on to get elected she abandoned once in office; to the point that she was forced out of the Democratic Party because she didn’t align with them anymore.

Now that they’re done counting, Trump actually had two million more votes than 2020. I await your mea culpa.
