It gonna take a while for the Europeans to ramp up. 30 years of letting their militaries atrophy will take a while to overcome. It’s good that they seem to be serious about it though.

They have competent folks that know how to “produce”. The side shift to military production won’t happen instantly, but it seems they are now realizing the stakes of the “game.”
I can foresee a massive response, even reminiscent of the US bulking up in WW2.

Even with what they have it wouldn't take much for them to gain air superiority over Russia if it came to that. Europe also has a bit more tanks than the US overall so that's something too. Hopefully it doesn't come to that, but the likely result will be something of a cold war ramp up that Russia would not be able to keep pace with.

The Europeans are capable of totally out producing Russia and winning that build up.
I question their long term commitment to that. Because it’s gonna require a long term commitment.

germany has a lot of heavy industries that are currently hemorrhaging market share but could easily be repurposed for military manufacturing. france might have to pucker uncomfortably in a couple years but russia gets sandwiched nicely between chinese and european militaries, which hopefully will free us up to focus on the likes of canada ;-)
We're off and having fun winning (bc that's what landslide winners do). Checking in on the tear sessions is a part time gig these days, especially since there are so many tantrum posts going on.
Survival is a pretty big reason for long term commitments.
