TRUMP INDICTED

Tom. There is zero sense in arguing with you. Zero. You can be the left version of MAGA.
I’m not asking for an argument. Just asking you to back up what you’re saying. On this topic it seems as if you won’t. Kind of like MAGAs do…since that’s the comparison you brought into this.

Smell my fingers. There is no sense debating with the far right or left. Progressives are blind idiots. You also believe that transgenders should be allowed to compete against those born female. That's a winning stance :)
No I don’t. When did I say that? Don’t make stuff up now. I think the left on this board have stated our thoughts on that topic pretty clearly.

After the last 24 hours and outlandish behavior of GOP Reps, Senators and Governors, I have never been more convinced that Russia colluded with Trump and gave him massive amounts of the Kompromat to keep them in check. It is about the only thing that explains it all. They have had so many moments to free themselves of him and run him over with a bus but they never do. Someday soon, when Putler is roasting in hell, their system and its impact going back decades it will all come out. They stopped pouring money on spying on military and switched to politicians in the 90s…

You only look at things through a VERY liberal view. Electing moderates is the only way forward. You seem to believe that ALL Republicans are MAGA. MAGA has control of the politicians but not the traditional conservative voters. Do you ever talk to others IRL that may have a different belief.

Yes and yes.

Not an insult to say it’s a wild theory when you claim the grand jury indictment is the Dems’ way of keeping Trump on the ballot.

Why can’t you bring yourself to criticize DeSantis’s tweet?
1. I’m not the only person who thinks the Dems are determined to make sure Don is on the ballot because they believe Joe can defeat him again.
2. I won’t criticize Ron because I don’t see some huge problem with his tweet.

Tell me you haven’t already deduced that from my posts?

So. When Republicans are polled about their current preference for the party nomination ... Democrats have something to do with the results?

Wrong. My “very liberal” is pretty damn center if you go back 20 years. I WAS a Republican. Then I realized they were full of crap. I’ve heard this we need moderates for years but nothing gets done for middle America. The people I listen to are traditional Republicans and they wouldn’t vote Republican now nationally at all. Why? Because the party has gone full Trump. Look how they vote. I’m not stupid. I know what their votes mean. Again, you came up with nothing about what the party has done for the middle class. For over 40 years, man!

I don’t think you truly understand what a moderate Republican is. I sure as shit don’t. I know they vote against their best interests.

Caring about cheaper healthcare, prescription drugs, truly funded education that benefits all kids, common sense gun laws, being fiscally responsible, and admitting we have climate issues is VERY LIBERAL? I’m sorry you feel that way.

Nah, you agreed that the Dems were behind Trump’s indictment because they needed to keep him on the ballot. Yes, a wild theory.

And I knew you didn’t have a problem with his tweet. Thanks for finally admitting it instead of playing word games. Like I said, anything goes, eh?

I think it’s a reasonable question.

What are 3 wins for middle class Americans in the past 25 years that were championed by the GOP either in Congress or from the White House?

Surely you must be able to name a few.

It is reasonable. If you want to alienate the actual conservative (anti-trumpers) voters. Some reasonable people didn't want more debt added. This is not crazy. Most Americans don't believe transgenders should be able to compete against biological females. Just because one party proposes it doesn't make it the correct decision.

I don’t think the GOP curtailed debt spending, but let’s say they did for the sake of argument.

You got 2 more from over two decades?

1. Just because a bunch of crazy people repeat something that doesn’t make it not crazy.
2. I am not shocked that you approve of authoritarianism as long as it profits your party.

Biden also wanted a pay for on infrastructure and Republicans said no. Republicans caring about debt and spending is a myth. We’ve only pointed this out for 20 years on this site. In what damn way have cons shown they care about the debt? You believe their words? Because I sure don’t.

They didn’t. They only say they do but I haven’t forgotten Reagan’s $300 hammers.

Oh go bleep yourself. The Republican party has been united in condemning this indictment and supporting Trump. If you want to vote fascist, vote effing fascist and don't blame the liberals or the transgenders or what the hell ever. Just own it.

So absolutely sick of fascist enablers like you who reflexively blame the liberals for everything. Liberals have absolutely nothing to do with and no responsibility for the rise of and capture of the Republican party by the MAGA's. There is no "both sides" take here. The "both sides" takes are one of the reasons we are where we're at.
