The networks are giving him free air time again at a town hall, and the first question was from a Birther who commented that America has a muslim problem, and a muslim in the White House. It is an opening, but the field hasn't been able to capitalize on any other extreme comment, so I doubt this hurts him within the Party. You gotta figure Priebus is concerned. As I said earlier... the bat shit crazy crowd known as the far-right eats this stuff up. The general election is slipping away every day that Trump is in the headlines.
Despite the perceived weakness right now with HRC, the Dems will just be benefactors of the GOP loose tongues.
