Remember the “I have never heard of project 2025” from trump and the “project 2025 is a liberal scare tactic fantasy” from his maga dipshits? We were told just to ignore it all.

Ask yourself this, Rs. If Trump is willing to lie about something as bad as 2025, what else is he willing to lie about?
I see two possibilities:
1. Appoint himself
2. Appoint a pla holder who basically promises to not run in the special.election that will get held to serve the remainder of the term, so he can run for that himself
This. It needs to be either him or Casey if he wants to preserve the seat.
Appointing Donald Jr. would be absurd, but it is Florida.
I despise Miller. I think Borgum is fine. Carson in that role may be ok. Other than that, I’m unsure

Rubio jumped straight into the arms of the neocons when he went to Washington.
Maybe Trump is bringing him in just to dogpile him in cabinet meetings, and as a sop to the interventionists.

Rule here is the Gov appoints someone to serve until the next scheduled statewide election; in that, someone is elected to serve remainder of the term.
The next statewide is Nov 2026...so desantis appoints someone to serve until that time, and an election gets held to serve the last 2 years of the term.
Aside from Steven Miller, who thankfully was appointed to a junior role, I'm happy with the sections so far.
