Trumps response

The GOP doesn't care they killed legislation to address it so they could run on it. The takeaway here is Trump is lying and gaslighting his base for gain with zero plan or cares to address anything other than pure evil and cruelty.
Once again…that so-called border legislation still allowed too many illegal immigrants in this country b4 it kicked in…so it was dead on arrival.

With all of that said, does anyone actually disagree that border security is a problem and that too many criminals enter the country illegally?
Definitely a huge problem, just one I'd prefer to discuss with someone other than...

It's dumbassery like this that really makes me long for Sep 12, 2001.
My point was that him thinking there is no way 3 different people would have shared political beliefs (different to his) and accuse us of being the same person is silly given our party just won the popular vote. Statistically him and you are much more likely to be multis 😉

Now go cry about Mt McKinley.

Intelligently, the odds are that, since I've been a member since Oct 20, 2002 and you Mar 18, 2021, that you're the "multi" culprit.
Now go cry about Mt McKinley.
Link to tears?

...and since you brought it up, you never answered post #39 (or others in that thread). Only @KFsdisciple from "Your Team" man an attempt at an intelligence answer.

Wrong.
you do know the definition of the word caught, right?????
As in, hunter biden was caught illegally buying and disposing of a hand gun near a school but was pardoned by his father for it? Did I use the word right?

Border security is a problem. But immigration is not a security issue it is an economic issue. And the fact we do not have a good immigration policy and process creates a security issue at the border.

“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true," Trump falsely implied, hours before the FBI identified the suspect as a U.S. citizen from Texas.

The fact that so many idiots voted for this man is perplexing.
This is what you comment on after a terroistic event? Keep it in perspective and look at the big picture instead of nit picking on small remarks. Our open border policy was and is a big issue. The government's #1 job is to protect it's citizens and if they can't do that then they should scratch and start over. Why are we paying taxes again when they suck as bad as they do?

I'm not only talking about Dems/Repubs are just as bad. This whole 2 party system is a failure.

You're using circular reasoning here. You say immigration isn't a security issue, but then claim that poor immigration policy creates security problems at the border. If bad policy creates security problems, then immigration is obviously linked to security. Trying to separate them like that just doesn't make sense and ignores the connection between the two.

My bias is that most, not all, of the people at the border are seeking better opportunities for themselves. Our policy creates chaos at the border. The criminal element exploit the chaos at the border. Improve the processes and there is less opportunity for the criminals to enrich themselves. Security improves.

It's dumbfounding yes, and Republicans could have ran Bobo the chimp and he'd have still garnered 40% of the vote. The reality is that it doesn't matter what he says as long as it's shitting on someone else that his followers don't like. The truth and facts are irrelevant to the discussion. This is how demagogues operate and succeed.
You mean they didn't run Bobo the chimp? Based on the candidate's words and actions, I thought they did.

That's not what you were saying at all. Nice backtrack. And how do you know my political beliefs?

And opioid crisis.
More nonsense. That's an American problem that was created by an American company. If we're talking about fentanyl, that's a CBP problem primarily associated with U.S. trucks that are driven by U.S. citizens smuggling fentanyl across the border through legal ports of entry. It has almost nothing to do with immigrants, foreign nationals, or tamping down on illegal border crossings.
