Trump's "Truth Social" May Launch on President's Day (Feb 21) - Are You In?

And despite this insanity, he gets a prime, extended interview tomorrow on Meet the Press.
Why shouldn't he?

It's an opportunity for folks to see his insanity on display. Best thing that could happen for Orange man is a total news blackout.

From the recent interviews I've seen...he ain't picking up any "undecided" votes with them.

He got 80 million votes in 2020. He animates angry people to vote. A lot of the people who vote for him know he’s a lying grifter who molests women, but he owns the Libs, and that’s all that matters. They like him even in reruns, and will vote for him again.

The question is....does giving him "main stream" interviews help or hurt him?

Trump supporters ain't changing their minds whether he gets these or not. Does he pick up more support with these interviews or not is the question.

I think not. I actually think if he would be able to go on "mute" it'd actually help him. Let him rant and rave about 2020 being stolen on MSM outlets. Didn't help the R's in 2022 and it ain't helping him or them in 2024. If anything it makes Jan 6 even more relevant to the 2024 election.

There's a pretty large segment of the voting population that only gets there info from the MSM (old folks). Put him on mute and it's to his benefit IMO.

Honest question, do you think anyone inclined to watch a Trump interview with Kirsten Welker on NBC was on the fence about him? I don't like them allowing him an outlet to lie, especially with so many jury pools forming out there. For years Lib TV decried the lying, corruption, ineffectiveness and violent end to the Trump Administration, and now because they want ratings they let him on to lie some more. They shouldn't attempt to have it both ways.

I think many non supporters tune in for the fun.

I think there are folks that voted for him in 2016 that voted Biden in 2020. I think a very small subset of them could turn back to him if he seemed more rational.

But he’s still the A-hole dipshit they turned against. None of these interviews have gone very well for him IMO.

As far as talking about the cases against him….I don’t think his lawyers like it much because he’s done himself more harm than good.

On a side note: if keeping politicians that lie off the air is the standard…there’d be a lot more politicians off the air.

Morning Joeys - Cheeto is asking his lawyers and others around him if he would be sent to a good prison or a bad prison and if he would have to wear a jumpsuit

“Trump doesn't like to see wounded vets. In a new profile in the Atlantic about the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley, it described what happened in Milley’s welcome ceremony, where the general had chosen a severely wounded Army captain to sing “God Bless America.” After the performance, Trump walked over to congratulate him, but then said to Milley: “Why do you bring people like that here? No one wants to see that, the wounded.” Never let him appear in public again, Trump told Milley. Trump hates POSs, the wounded, and everything that doesn't look “strong.” He’s clearly unfit to be commander-in-chief.”
