New music to me and doing a dive into Austin Meade's catalog. Like about everything I've heard so far.

Cool Story Bro time --- the engineer for almost all those Daytrotter sessions is an ex-roommate and friend of mine who went to Davenport Central.
The Stranglers are a perfect mix of punk and post punk/new wave. Some other good ones from the 80s, Mighty Lemon Drops, Echo and the Bunnymen, Jesus and Mary Chain (they're probably more of an early industrial band)
100%! In fact, I was listening to all those bands last night on Apple Music’s Post-Punk Deep Cuts playlist when I came across that track from The Stranglers.
