Wrapped up the player portion of the presser. Had a few seniors there today. Asked them if any of them were planning on using their "Covid Year" and got some different responses. Riley Moss and Charlie Jones are undecided. Both will go through the senior day stuff on Saturday, but they are leaving the door open. They have certainly talked to the coaches about it, but not decisions made at this point. Asked Kyler Schott about it and he said he's done after this season. Said he hasn't even talked to the coaches about it.
Beyond that, asked Linderbaum about his future and he said he is focused on the season and finishing out the year. No announcement or decision made about his future, but I would guess he's almost certainly headed to the NFL after this year given his draft status as a likely first round pick.
As far as Illinois, the offensive guys said that they really can't use any of the film from their game last year to study them because the defense is completely different. Pretty much the same deal with the defense where they see a team a lot like Minnesota last week that plays with a lot of guys up front and try to run the football and be physical.
