The one time I thought it would be better for Hayes to miss he hits nothing but net. Much more difficult to go length of court after a miss.

easy to look back and say "i told you so" but I said he should miss the 2nd FT there. With 3-4 seconds remaining, it doesn't matter if you're up 1 or 2 points. Florida was shooting a 3 no matter what. A missed FT would have taken a little more time off the clock and be much more difficult to drive down the court
Wisconsin has had it way too good for too long now - a well deserved punch right to the gonads for those SOBs
Hayes should have went up and dunked it
His 7 missed FTs didn't help either

I said the same thing after he made the 1st. Chances make or miss Gators will only have time to shoot a 3. Doesn't matter if your up 1 or 2. The miss takes at least 1-2 seconds off clock.

That wasn't Hayes it was Iverson who is an even more dynamic dunker. He went up way too soft.
It wasn't Hayes who got blocked on the fast break. #25 whoever that is. Also the guy who immediately got blown by for a layup.

POOR, POOR defense at the end there by Wisky. NO ONE guarding the in bounds and Hayes guarding the guy with the ball, and no one picking him up, giving him an UNCONTESTED 3 point try?
I can not imagine the cleanup after the game. I fear that many a Badger Fan soiled themselves.

I wondered if someone would comment on Barry's free throw shooting, maybe they don't know who Rick Barry is. If I was at that level and could shoot around 90 pct from the line and make 39 in a row, I'm shooting underhanded. Would rather have the points than the style.

Even that muscle bound Florida guard's normal shot has more forward moving jump and kick than normal. Seems hard not to foul him if you contest shot at all, like Happ did
