With the transfer portal, injuries, sit outs, opt outs, I think many programs are going to switch to playing two QBs.

A good point and something most teams should have been doing for a long time. When you have a decent late game lead give the backup a few series and let them throw the ball.
Kirk has never been able to know what a backup QB can do in game crunch time because he never tests them
I'm sure we could all name numerous terrific teams/offenses we have seen that utilized 2 QB's on a regular basis, including multiple national champions. I have no idea why it is not a more common thing.
