The fact that a member of the faculty senate believes this is an issue the faculty senate should discuss tells me the faculty senate is probably not very important, or useful.

I consider myself more progressive leaning, but this woman needs to get over herself. Of all the trite causes one could focus on, this would rate right up there. I don't think she's the same one who bitched about the pink locker room, though. Birds of a feather...

Wasn't it Sally Mason who claimed the visitor's pink locker room was offensive to homosexuals or something asinine like that? These egg headed, loony liberal academic people need to stick with academics.

Next thing you know, they'll be asking for gender neutral restrooms to be installed in the locker rooms while instructing the coaches and media to ask the players if they prefer the pronoun ze, he, or she when being addressed.

I'm trying to figure out what her comments have to do with her field of study. I chalk this up to another whack job in academia. Not even going to say it's a liberal thing. No just a whacko. I'm sure there are plenty of people who consider themselves liberal think this women is nuts.

Me being one of them. Please explain how a Herky the Hawk mascot is a factor in child abuse pediatrics.
