U23 World Team Trials

Just listened to Tom Ryan's interview on Trow and Funky show and he addressed this topic directly. I think his opinion is 100% right and is a great perspective to help TOSU land top recruits. NATO, McKenna and Martin will all be at the U23 trials.

He believes that it will make them better for the end of the year, just as I do. I'm all in favor of getting our guys in the U23 trials and getting them back for Midlands and our big duals.

These top recruits want their international dreams accommodated.

Remember crab they are Student Athletes first.
But I agree

Pins. I agree on the student athlete first idea. But in the big scheme of things, these kids are going to miss what 2-3 days of classes? Maybe? How many classes do basketball players miss in the spring for March Madness? It's part of doing business these days, at least to some extent.

People need to adjust their thinking w today elite kids. Elite kids are used to lots of yearly matches vs college

Depending where they trained for club(s) they could have less total time invested during months of Sept and Oct in collegiate wrestling vs high school

Stop with this nonsense of student first thought. That's like saying D1 football can't have a large playoff format because the kids would miss to many classes
