Underrated Nicolas Cage movies.

How 'bout Con Air?

I was in Vegas when they shot the air scene. We were headed for dinner and saw this low flying airplane with one engine out flying low over the city. It was pretty creepy and we were all concerned it was a terrorists.

Another time I flew into Minneapolis from Vegas with the Flying Elvi. They were doing a night jump at Mystic Lake Casino. They were good guys and I sat by one of them. Biggest day of my life.
I sat next to one of them in a poker game perhaps 35 years ago. He was a nice guy and interesting.

Nick Cage drove by my apartment in San Francisco in a yellow Ferrari in the movie "The Rock." Once at least; he may have gone by twice in the same movie. ... I liked that movie.

However my favorite all time Nick Cage film was "Ghost Rider." I believe it received mostly favorable reviews. It certainly should have.

"Let's Ride"

Today I was watching a Nicolas Cage movie called Joe (free on Tubi.) Terribly acted, but somehow a decent dark movie.

McBride/Hill/Green had a hand in that movie.

Apparently the alcoholic dad on the movie was played by a real homeless man that passed away shortly after the film too. I was going to say he played a drunk amazingly, but his delivery was off at times. Tye Sheridan did a good job on the movie.

Windtalkers maybe? I’m a sucker for any war movie. Enjoyed this one, but not really because of Cage.

Dream Scenario is new to streaming & is one of those Cage roles where it's hard to imagine anyone else playing the part.

Don’t believe Wild at Heart has been mentioned yet. Very weird but very good. I suspect it would be fantastic to watch when high
