Choose your flight plans carefully!
Here he is explaining that racist hiring practices are more important than merit.
I'll take that plucky rookie with something to prove. That's one way to look at it.
Let's say there are two different pilots. Both are certified. One has 15,000 hours. Another has 10,000 hours, and a minor safety incident. Which will you choose?
I didn't watch the videos so will probably come off as a huge dumbass. Are we even talking about pilots here? Or is this merely company-wide including thousands of cushy white-collar remote jobs?Choose your flight plans carefully!

OP is a weird, weird dude.
Let me guess, Elon is mad at United about something...
I still believe there’s a small, but not zero, chance that PF is Musk. This seems like exactly the kind of place where he’d fool around just for fun.
If OP is anything, he's predictable.Shocker
@BelemNole nailed it.
Why is Boeing such a shitty corporation?
“By the way, just how outsourced is Boeing production? Only yesterday, it was revealed the door plug that blew out of the Alaska Airlines plane wasn’t actually produced in Wichita. It was produced in Malaysia, where I very much doubt that workers’ concerns about speed of production and quality oversight have much impact on their managers.
More significantly, the fact that the Malaysian production of the door plug didn’t come to light until yesterday—12 days after the blowout—suggests just how profoundly outsourcing can obscure the public visibility required for corporate accountability.”
And unoriginalIf OP is anything, he's predictable.
That door plug was put in by Spirit Aerosystems (part of their fuselage production line), and was manufactured in Malaysia.
PF is pro Ukraine, Eloon is trending towards Putin fanboy.I still believe there’s a small, but not zero, chance that PF is Musk. This seems like exactly the kind of place where he’d fool around just for fun.
i saw a story about how the lady sitting in the seat next to the door had her shirt ripped off by force, but the article included no pics.Last week when the door blew off of that 737 flying out of Portland it was a lady pilot that calmly, safely landed the plane. The OP would have rather nose dived into the Columbia River versus have a woman as the pilot.
What do you do on the weekends?
And unoriginal
Wait, is vibrator in the ass good or bad?Weak weak sauce.
Airlines have to follow FAA rules re pilots, I dont care if the guy is walking around with a vibrator in his ass as long as the pilots meet FAA certification.
I have no problem with trying to expand the pool of potential pilots. What I have a problem with, is hiring pilots based on their race, age, sex, etc. and when you make a statement crowing about how you are going to hire pilots in the future based on those traits, you're doing nothing but virtue signaling and putting airline passengers at risk. (United is also practicing discrimination, which is illegal. You want to end discrimination based on race, stop discriminating based on race)Traditionally commercial airline pilots are older white men, and in the face of a shortage of pilots the airline has gone out of its way to find more pilots among people that don’t usually make the years-long expensive investment for their career.
Wow, that is some horrible stuff! Trying to expand the pool of candidates who might enter the extensive training to be a pilot? Sheesh, what will they think of next?
Seems pretty racist to imply diverse people can’t be pilots. Par for the course for OP’s crowd.
Back in the day, (Spring, 1944) my dad was piloting his B-24 from the southern boot of Italy up towards Yugoslavia on a mission. About an hour out, his plane developed engine trouble (engine wash) and he had to drop out of formation and try to make it back to base. He realized the plane might not make it, and crew had noticed 3 Messerschmidt’s on the horizon. Dad had the navigator and radioman start “MayDay” messages with their position as the 3 Nazi planes started moving in. Suddenly, the German planes turned away and headed back to Germany...it was then noticed by the crew that a squad of “Red Tails” had picked up their distress signal, located them and moved their way....the Nazi pilots (probably rookies or little experienced) didn’t want anything to do with the Red Tails and left. This is like watching The Tuskegee Airmen and rooting for the racist officers.
Allegiant is equally horrible for everyone? What safe, DEI free airline do you suggest I fly? Bonus points of it's Airbus only

True story. One of my best friends is an airline pilot at one of the majors. His now ex wife's younger sister became one after they met. She is or was an FO at one of the regionals (the small jets you start out on, for the non flying crowd) and was doing a trip with another young lady who was the captain. During one of their turns a new group of passengers was boarding. While they were standing by the door of the plane some dude came up the jet bridge and looked at them and literally said 'Nope!' and turned around and walked back to the terminal and demanded to be put on the next flight out.Last week when the door blew off of that 737 flying out of Portland it was a lady pilot that calmly, safely landed the plane. The OP would have rather nose dived into the Columbia River versus have a woman as the pilot.
It is a day of the week with a name that ends in Y, so to be expected. You are embarrassing yourself, and that's being charitable.
This is what deregulation gets you.Why is Boeing such a shitty corporation?

Crazy she has never seen that.
