Will the critics say that Tennessee did not belong in the playoffs like they did about Indiana?

The copium in SEC land is now that South Carolina, Alabama , and Ole Miss would have made things different. Too much depth in the SEC. It so unfair that Oregon, OSU, and Penn State didn't lose more games. Yeah no.

It’s obvious that a 2 loss SEC team doesn’t belong in the playoff. And they were whining for a 3 loss one?
I just saw that. It's like that stat was required to be on tv. Will they show KF's record against the SEC?
I really, really feel good that all those UT fans got to see their team’s last game of the season live and in person. How can you not feel good about that?
Why is Nico still in? Real cool taking shots at the 2nd and 3rd team guys for Ohio St. Makes them look like bigger losers. Even we pulled our guys.

Moreover, the SEC only plays an 8-game conference slate. Usually, they load up on powder-puffs in the OOC slate.
Folks like to shit on the B1G ... because football in late-fall weather conditions can seriously curtail offenses ... which makes the games often appear like ugly defensive slugfests. However, that very much can be a false-narrative.
As others note ... media folks tend to pander in order to continue to drum up interest and keep the ad-revenue flowing.
If we’ve learned anything tonight it’s that UT starters vs. OSU third team would be a really good game.

Was just texting a friend saying “if you’re a 4th string player in the B1G & you’re playing a SEC school, you better be ready to go late in the game during mop up duty”.
Elite Ohio State romps. Seems like Ryan Day and Will Howard are the biggest handcuffs for them. Day can't figure out how to beat Michigan, yet he can be at down Tennessee and should've beaten an elite Georgia.
Let's see, Michigan can't score. They are strong up the middle and want a grind it out game. Day called up Ferentz and asked him how to beat such a team evidently. Forget all that speed and talent you have. Run up the middle and put your 55 percent passer have to play third and longs.
Let's hope for some real games next week. I think we'll get better first round games in the years to come. The difference is you won't have Indiana saying all off-season they weren't given a shot. They were and got exposed, same for SMU, Tennessee and Clemson.
