Why would he (Kirk) say anything else? No sense giving anyone anything.

He has posted that in more than one thread. He is more predictable than ISU having a one game season.
This weeks game is a trap game. I'm concerned Iowa will be looking ahead to this game and have a letdown in the game tomorrow.
Iowa will not be overlooking Iowa State. They've lost 2 in a row at Kinnick and by now they know Iowa State will play out of their ass to try to beat them. I think this year it's a little personal--thanks to Mr. Lazard.

I saw him this morning on his 5am daily jog and he said he should be good to go tonight, but the coaches might keep him out for precautionary reasons.

Very latest I'm hearing is there's still a chance James dresses and tries it out in warm-ups, but the general feeling is they will be cautious and hold him out regardless. Either way, that sounds encouraging as far as not missing much time.
